Anyone at Orams recently would have seen a bright red, jet boat in the dry stack. It belongs to a new business (www.aucklandadventurejet.co.nz) called Auckland Adventure Jet
After moving from Timaru to Auckland, Auckland Adventure Jet’s CEO Paul McCauley saw an opportunity in Auckland and took it.
“We have the very first purpose built sea jet of its kind in New Zealand with twin turbo and super charged 600 horse power Volvo engines.” says McCauley
It had its official launch on December 1 at Orams and launched to the public on Saturday December 4 with jet boats now running every hour on the hour from 9am to 5pm. You can find them on Pier 3d, Auckland Ferry Terminal.
